“GAYATRI: Mantra for Peace and Prosperity” Released July, 2021

Gayatri Mantra for Peace is a highly revered mantra from the Rig Veda dedicated to Savitri – also known as Gāyatrī, the name of the Goddess of the Vedic Mantra. It is widely known as the mantra to glorify the Goddess and the feminine divine in nature and within us.

Additional Vocals: Sreevalsan J. Menon, Paulette Penzvalto and Gopi Kallayil

Additional Vocals: Sreevalsan J. Menon – delivering pristine quality South Indian style of classical Indian vocalization, Paulette Penzvalto invoking us on the journey by pronouncing prayers in Latin, which means “Do not fear”, translation of one of the Bhagavad Gita prayers.
Ethereal saxophone by Scott Page Scott Page (Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Toto),
Jared May (Tina Malia, Simrit) is really present and glues the track well together with the 5 string bass arrangements.
Ronnie Ray played the ambient guitars and the conch.

Mystical Awakening – Musical Exploration of Bhagavad Gita. This is another take on the well-know ancient scripture of the East made popular on the West by Emerson and Thorough, Allen Ginsberg, George Harrison, and Swami Bhaktivedanta. This track features several popular stanzas from the scripture.

“Precious Jewels” – is the collective effort of many talented musicians who shared their artistic gifts in this project. As the pictures here attest, this was an exciting journey and labor of love that spanned seven countries and three years in making.

Kirtan Lounge started as a dreamy experiment when Gopi and Ananta decided to collaborate on performing and producing Kirtan and make it a love offering to the yoga community and world music lovers. This year Kirtan Lounge celebrates 5th anniversary with a new album release and an array of music videos!
